You may not have heard of this but this popular Korean beauty brand,  Laneige , which is taking the world by storm, had its inspiration plucked out from the French word, ‘la neige’. It simply means ‘snow’. Through technology, they transformed water into dynamic moisture energy – sort of a drink concocted just for the skin to drink. And they made some of the best ‘skin drinks’ that had changed my impression of this Korean beauty brand which has become such a popular skincare brand in Asia. We’ve all heard about their best-selling sleeping mask which I have not yet tried it but I’ve tried their White Plus Renew Capsule Sleeping pack which works on my skin like magic. Review: Laneige White Dew Milky Cleanser, Skin Refiner, Original Ampoule Essence, Emulsion and Tone-up Cream

  Let's go through them one-by-one: Laneige White Dew Milky Cleanser I have mixed feelings on this cleanser. It says brightening cleansing so don't expect this to be very moisturizing or soothing. It feels like a more bubbly version of Hada Labo Whitening Foam Cleanser, but not as gentle as Hada Labo. Didn't see any so-called brightening or  white dew  effect. It is just an ordinary cleanser with a milky cream paste consistency that lathers well upon contacting the water.  My skin doesn't feel particularly clean, moisturized or brightened after using this so I don't think I will repurchase in the future. It has a good pH level at 5.5 though for those of you who prefer low pH cleanser. Laneige White Dew Skin Refiner This is a milky essence toner that feels quite refreshing on the skin.
